WhatsApp Terms and ban risk

The full version of the warning we put everywhere else.

Last updated 27 August 2026

A connected number can be banned

If that is not a risk you can take with a particular number, do not connect that number.

What this product does

Mr Whatsapp runs a headless Chrome browser on your server, logs into WhatsApp Web as a linked device using your number, and reads and replies to messages through it. This is browser automation, not an official integration.

Why that matters

WhatsApp's Terms of Service prohibit automated or unofficial access. WhatsApp actively detects it. A number used this way can be temporarily restricted or permanently banned, and there is no appeal route we can pursue for you.

How to reduce the risk

Connect a secondary business number, never your primary personal one. Never send bulk or outbound messages — Mr Whatsapp only replies to people who messaged you first, and that is deliberate. Keep reply volume in a human range.

Not affiliated

Mr Whatsapp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms. WhatsApp is a trademark of its respective owner.

Why we say all this on the sales page

Because you should be able to decide before you pay, not after.
